We’re delighted to announce that we’re working with Agus Gonzalez-Lancharro.

His story is an inspiration to everyone who has ever taken a risk or spotted an opportunity. After an unsatisfying career as a session musician, he decided to take a risk and blow his last thousand euros on a flight to LA in a last-ditch attempt to break into the world of trailer music. With no credentials, no contacts and just his music to show, he knocked on unfamiliar doors in the hope of getting a lucky break. And it came. When he got back to the hotel on the first day, he found an email from Universal Pictures asking him to do the music for the trailer for Oblivion with Tom Cruise.

Now, under a year later, he has orchestrated the trailer music for some of the biggest movies around, including Star Trek, Godzilla, and the Hobbit, and his music for the Captain America trailer was watched by 200 million people during the Super Bowl.

Just shows what you can achieve from a tiny flat in a London suburb if you put your mind to it.

Agus came to us to help him raise his profile, and we are preparing him to speak at music and business conferences around the world in the coming year, starting with Canadian Music Week. I suspect his story is only just beginning…

Agus is the director of Really Slow Motion. Here’s his music in the Captain America trailer.
